Race steed ready to roll

Race day has dawned, with a grey overcast sky. Plenty of rain overnight so a high possibility conditions will have changed on the course. Had the race briefing last night and the run seems more like an obstacle course, I think this will suit me though with a strong run at the end.

First race of the European Tour

I have been here since Wednesday, weather is very changeable with rain and strong winds. Race consists of 2 lap 1500m river estuary swim, 34km mountain bike and 10k beach run. Have practiced the course and am looking forward to tomorrows 2pm start time. Lets see if all the hard work has paid off.

Lots of Brit Pro/Elite racers here, all super nice, so I am picking up as much advice as I can get.

Out for another run this morning. Nice to run through virgin snow, apart from the rabbits that is.
